Top Drawer London

This week Belly Button have been at Top Drawer, in between taking orders and talking to customers we managed to steal some time to have a look around.
We had a wonderful time looking around all the stands and saw many of our favourite companies!
Our stand looked fabulous and was showcasing all of our new designs including, Platinum, Paloma and our new range, Creme Brulee.
Our Paloma and Platinum giftware ranges went down a storm.

Our award winning Platinum range was the star of the show and a favourite with everybody.
Paloma looked wonderful and stood out against our beautiful charcoal walls.
We loved the brightly coloured giftwrap from ‘Wrap’
The Urban Graphic stand looked wonderful!
We spotted these cosy looking slippers from Sew Heart Felt and just had to share them!
We loved these satchels from Bakker, so many beautiful patterns and a lovely display!
Gorgeous crockery from Moorish, we loved the bowls!
The Rifle Paper Company stand was another of our favourites!
We loved the colours of the wax on the True Grace stand – very eye catching!
In the home-ware section we saw this Mini Moderns display. We particularly liked the use of pattern and natural earth colours.
We also spotted our foil embossed Platinum range looking lovely in Paperchase!
After the show we took a little look inside West Elm and we were amazed by their living wall!
We had a fabulous time so far meeting lots of new customers and catching up with some familiar faces.

Happy New Year from Belly Button!
2013 was a fabulous year for us with huge success including winning a Henries award for our Platinum range!
2014 is already looking to be a great year!
With the New Year brings all of our fabulous new ranges and designs, including Platinum, Paloma and our new range, Creme Brulee.

Here at Belly Button we had a family fun day on Saturday to raise money for
We had a selection of delicious cakes and drinks, including Victoria sponge, flapjacks, chocolate cake and rocky roads.
The children had a great time decorating albums with tulip and jewels to take home (even the adults got stuck in)
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped out and baked lots of delicious things to sell, we raised lots of money for Children in Need!

All the children loved painting their albums, they used lots of brightly coloured tulip and jewels!
Everybody baked lots of lovely things including, Banana and Nutella muffins, rocky roads and butterfly cupcakes.

Here at Belly Button we love nothing more than a fabulous party, and what could be more fabulous than having one to celebrate our Henries Platinum win! This year our best-selling metallic foil embossed Platinum range received a prestigious Henries award for ‘Best Relations and Occasions’ and we couldn’t have been happier! We had a lovely party this morning to celebrate, and of course a party isn’t a party without tea and cake (which we had plenty of).

Jessica’s DIY Feather Headdress

Here at Belly Button we love anything glitzy and sparkly, so when we found out that the theme of the Henries this year was Calypso carnival we couldn’t wait to create some fabulous feather headdresses to wear on the night!
The lovely Jessica Button (above) made all of our crowns for us and we loved them so much that we thought we would let you know how to make one of your own.
We bought our feathers from a local crafty favourite, Fred Aldous!
Step 1 – Trim your feathers to the correct length and colour them using Dylon dye to the colour of your choice.
Step 2 – Fix the feathers (about 4) onto your tiara with some strong glue.
Step 3 – Make a feather trim to cover the bottom of the longer feathers. You can do this by using lots of smaller feathers and sticking them over the base of the tiara.
Step 4 – Decorate your headdress with as many jewels as you want to.
Once you have made your feather headdress you are all set for a fabulous evening!
As well as hand painting all of our beautiful Belly Button cards, Jessica also has her own shop selling beautiful handmade textiles and Bespoke greetings cards.

With our Spring launch came the release of our fab new range ‘Le Petit Pois’! With wiggly eyes and bright colours they are perfect for little people and grown up’s too. The range includes Spring and Everyday designs so there is something for every occasion including Mother’s day, Father’s day and Birthdays.
The Spring designs will be available in the New Year and our beautiful birthday designs are hitting the shops now so keep an eye out for these little lovelies in shops near you!

Here at Belly Button we celebrated the launch of our gorgeous new Spring ranges yesterday by having a fabulous party!
