Here at Belly Button we celebrated the launch of our gorgeous new Spring ranges yesterday by having a fabulous party!

Pretty Paloma

We just love our Paloma range of greeting cards so much that we have designed an extra 24 designs. Keep an eye out for these beautifully metallic foiled designs! They are hand finished with crystals and a bow. A little snapshot below for your Thursday viewing!

Anyone for a Macaroon?

Very excited here at the studio this week with the launch of our new range Macaroon!

27 fabulous everyday designs, hand finished here in the UK with gems and bow and printed on board made in the beautiful Lake District with pulp from sustainable forests.

We thought you would like a peek at these wonderful creations! Full of bright colours and a sprinkling of pattern.

A design special

This week we popped down to P G Live, London to see the movers and shakers of the greeting card industry. A solely greeting card exhibition in the beautiful Business Design Centre, London. 

With a buzz in the air and a great summer atmosphere we went to see Janet at G F Smith Papers to see what wonderful new product they had. As usual an inspiring array of colours, textures and finishes.

While were there we met Ilona Drew from ‘I Drew This’. Designer of colourful, quirky, vintage inspired greeting cards. Beautiful! Perfect for our Belly Button Card and Gift Boutiques.

After an interesting morning we then took ourselves off to Abigail Ahern’s store/gallery on Upper Street, London. An enchanting take on interior design, packed full of fabulous lighting, incredible faux flowers and sumptuous colour! We could hardly peel ourselves away but managed to get the last Abigail Ahern signed book!

Fabulous Spring Fair

Spring Fair 2013 has ended for another year and we have all packed up to go home. Here at the Belly Button studios the spirit is still alive as we start making all the wonderful cards and products that were ordered.

Hall 4 was alive and buzzing with the sound of customers from all over the globe, looking to find treasure amongst the vast collection of designers and creators.

Our new collections were received with much applause and celebration! From Platinum, Marmalade and Paloma. The star of the show Satin which was launched at Spring Fair had many fans cooing over it’s delicate crystals and deluxe ribbons.

It was lovely to catch up with some familiar faces and find out how the start of 2013 had been for our customers.

Another little gem to add to our collection were the Marmalade gift bags which brought brightness and cheer to the stand.

For Hannah our fabulous customer services expert it was her first visit to Spring Fair!

 

One of the highlights was spotting Kirstie Allsopp giving a talk about her gorgeous greeting card collection for Card Mix.

Kimberley our financial director bumped into Mike our north east agent who was looking dapper in his crisp white shirt!

After a hard days work on the stand we retreated to Jamie’s Italian in Birmingham’s famous Bullring.

Joined by a hand full of our agents we celebrated a great start to the show with a glass of bubbly fizz! Followed by delicious food from the beautifully designed menu.

Our chestnut mushroom tart was too good not to photograph! The perfect end to the perfect day!
